After all was said and done, and I assure you, a lot was said that made absolutely no sense to me at all, the answer is that you have to find your own meaning of your life. That could have been said as the first and last sentence of this awful book.From the title, which is extremely deceptive, I thought that this book would be rather good as a new take on this issue from a non-religious standpoint. I thought it would be easy to read and informative. I was fooled! The author wrote this book as obtuse and technical as he could. I read a lot of non-fiction books with technical writing about science and philosophy. That's not the assumption that I got with the title and the first pages of the sample. I was left just as puzzled as I began. I was very disappointed!

I approached the book with apprehension, thinking it is just another new-ager attempt to attack religion. I found it simply refreshing to have explained in clear laymen's language how newer scientific discoveries provide a viable alternate view on the meaning of life. This has been enlightening, and I am looking forward to the author's next title. Strongly recommended
